Yellowjacket (Rita DeMara) is a superhero in the Marvel Universe who succeeded Henry Pym as Yellowjacket. Yellowjacket was a member of the Masters of Evil who later became an Avenger and a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Origin[]
A dangerous thief, Rita DeMara stole Hank Pym's Yellowjacket costume and used it to become the criminal Yellowjacket.
Biography[]
Rita DeMara's childhood and past in general remains largely unknown. What is known is that she was a small time criminal with prior convictions and had an innate skill with technology and machines. Realizing her potential, she snuck into the Avengers Mansion to steal Henry Pym's Yellowjacket suit. Refitting her for her own use, she became Yellowjacket and ended up clashing with superhero The Wasp (Pym's wife).
