Jocasta is a robot superheroine in the Marvel Universe and a member of the Avengers.
Origin[]
Created by the evil robot Ultron to be his mate, Jocasta betrayed him at the cost of her life. She was later resurrected and became an ally of the Avengers.
Biography[]
The robot Ultron, a malevolent entity bent on wiping out humanity, created a mechanical creature that he hoped would become his mate. As part of his plan, Ultron brainwashed his creator and archnemesis, the hero Henry Pym, into transferring the mind of his wife, the hero Janet Van Dyne (aka the Wasp) into a robot he created.
Media[]
In the movie Avengers: Age of Ultron, when Tony went to pick up a pendrive with the artificial intelligence "Friday" to replace Jarvis in his armband, a pendrive with the name Jocasta was visible.
