Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway (currently Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Book) is a law firm in the Marvel Universe which had a division focused on superhuman law (cases related to superhumans and the paranormal), famous for employing She-Hulk.  The first three names and their namesakes are references to original Marvel publisher Martin Goodman, influential Marvel writer Stan Lee (born Stanley Lieber) and influential writer/artist Jack Kirby (Jacob Kurtzberg),

OriginEdit

The details of the foundation of Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway are largely unknown.

HistoryEdit

The foundation and early days of Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway remain largely unexplored.  At some point, the firm created a division with a focus on superhuman law and recruited Jennifer Walters (as well as other super powered individuals in other office roles and talented lawyers) and due to her lawyer abilities and her experience and connections to the superhero community.  Soon, Jennifer (directly answering to Holden Holliway) wins several cases as well as helping Holden with the other reason he wanted Jennifer to join: to help him with and be a role model for Holden's granddaughter, who is the young supervillain Southpaw.

After She-Hulk was whisked away from the firm for a brief period to help dispense justice across the universe, she returned, being unknowningly followed by the entity known as the Champion.  The Champion, looking to humble She-Hulk after a recent defeat at her hands, decided to give his Infinity Gem of Power to her arch-enemy Titania, who had also recently been humbled.  Titania then used her newfound power to attack She-Hulk at GLK&H and though She-Hulk was able ot defeat Titania with the assistance of the employees of Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway, the entire building was destroyed.

The firm reopened months later with a new building but following the disappearance of Southpaw, Holden went in search of her, leaving the company in the hands of the mysterious Artie Zix.  The firm also began the controversial decision to defend super-villains as well, which attorney Mallory Book took to doing quite quickly.  Zix was later revealed to be the android Rigel Type Zeta 9 who worked with She-Hulk when she acted as a cosmic judge/arbitor for the entity The Living Tribunal.  He reveals that he was sent to watch She-Hulk for the alien races known as the Recluses, who were afraid that She-Hulk may overturn a case in their favour and wanted to make sure she wouldn't.  Confident that she wouldn't, Rigel Type Zeta 9 returned to report to the Recluses, only to find the Recluses and himself destroyed by an evil alien mass murderer.

Mallory Book ends up taking Holliway's position in the firm, which then becomes renamed Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Book.  The current status of the company remains unknown.
