Biography[]
Captain Hammer's personal history is largely unknown. He is a long-time superhero who had become the archnemesis of the supervillain Dr. Horrible. When Dr. Horrible pulled off a heist for a rare element, Dr. Horrible inadvertently introduced Captain Hammer to Penny, the woman Dr. Horrible had a crush on. When Hammer met Dr. Horrible in his civilian identity and realized he had a crush on Penny, he bragged about his plans to bed her in order to needle him.
Hammer later helped Penny open a homeless shelter and the two attended a ceremony to celebrate its opening.
